Do you like Disney World? Do you like things that smell nice? Need I say more?I buy soaps from them every christmas as great gifts for friends, and bought myself some fragrance oils that can make my apartment smell like a bakery or ice cream parlor almost instantly. It's amazing. We also use some of their room sprays at the escape room company I work at.

It helps to stabilize your blood sugar levels, curbing the sugar cravings and making it easier to lose weight (if that is your goal). They have so many tasty flavors, and a caffeine-free hydration formula as well! Their XP-based reward system is addicting, and if you earn enough XP you can redeem it for crazy prizes like a video game console! Whaaaat?Personally, I stick to half doses, as it can be too much caffeine at once for me (I throw out the scoop and use a 1 tsp measuring spoon instead). You can buy large, cost-effective tubs of your favorite flavor, or buy single serving variety packs when you want to mix things up. It's fun to experiment with mixing flavors, too! I think my fav is Hype Sauce mixed with this peach tea flavor enhancer I got from Walmart.

FAQ

Art Reviews and Critique

Q: How can I get you to make a video reviewing my artwork?
A: You can buy a guaranteed video by clicking here
If you want a free video, I review people who tag me based on how easy I think it will be to make the video. You can start by making a video that is a slideshow of the work you're most proud of, and tagging me in the description or comments of that video. (@enchantedpencil)
It's easiest for me to make videos about you when:
-- 1) You are late beginner or early intermediate. You are starting to develop a style and get good at a few specific skills, but you aren't at a professional level yet. (Too beginner and I can only give you generic advice. Too advanced and you might be out of my area of expertise 😅)
-- 2) You have a large body of work on your Instagram, and your TikTok or Insta contains timelapses so I can see your drawing process in action.
-- 3) Comic book art and illustration is your ultimate goal as an artist
Q: You never reviewed me, can I tag you again?
A: Yes, but please wait at least a MONTH to tag me again! If I feel like you are spamming my mentions, I might have to block you so I don't miss other people :( My memory sucks though, so I really do encourage you to tag me multiple times to increase your chances at a review video.
Q: You HAVE reviewed me, can I tag you again?
A: Nope, but I bet you would be really interested in my private art lessons.

My TikTok Channel

Q: Can I repost your video(s) to my insta/youtube/etc with credit?
A: Yes, just please include credit! Leaving in the automatic tiktok watermark is enough, but you'll be my best friend if you include an easy to find link back to my channel, too.
Q: Any tips on how to do (insert drawing skill/technique here)?
A: Yeah, probably, but it can be hard to fit stuff into a single 30-90 second video. I usually turn to my Q&A and comment section for ideas, so feel free to leave a comment about it, but no guarantee I will get to it.
Q: Why haven't you posted anything lately?
A: IDK man sometimes I have tons of ideas for TikToks and sometimes the mere act of opening the app makes me want to cry so sometimes I'll just go on a random month-long hiatus. This is definitely thanks to me being hella neurodivergent. Don't worry, I'll come back eventually...
Q: How can I get 1-on-1 art help and advice from you?
A: CLICK HERE

My Process and Career

Q: What tablet do you use?
A: I use Huion Kamvas Pro 20 and an Ipad Pro 11in. Use whatever you can afford and upgrade when you can, its not the tools that make the artist, the nice stuff just makes you faster and more efficient.
Q: What program do you use to draw?
A: The GIMP for comics, Krita for animating. Krita is better tbh, but all my comic templates are set up for GIMP already, so I just keep using it. Both are free. On ipad, I use Procreate for illustrating and Flipaclip for animating. They're not free but they're still pretty affordable.
Q: What brush settings do you use?
A: It changes depending on what I'm making, but it's nothing fancy. Most of them were created or modified by me, too, so I couldn't easily tell you anyway. Don't blow these minor details out of proportion, just use what feels comfortable.
Q: How do I get started making comics?
A: Make sure your idea is something you won't get bored of. Start small, don't bite off more than you can chew. Don't wait for fancy materials, special software, or better skills. Just jump right in. Post your work online and on a schedule so you have external accountability to stick with it, but don't beat yourself up for missing a deadline here or there. Make work you love, don't try to appeal to a specific audience, YOU are your audience. Learn how to make work you are proud of without sinking countless hours into it. Comic artists need to work FAST and sometimes that means crappier art than you know you're capable of, and that's okay. Always keep moving forward.
Q: Where did you go to school for art?
A: I went to UW Stout, a polytechnic institute. It had a really robust art program but was not technically an art school, so it thankfully didn't cost an arm and a leg. I spent 4 years there and got a BFA in Entertainment Design (Concentration in Comics & Sequential Art) and a Minor in Computer Science. I got in on scholarships and financial help from my parents and graduated without any debt. Don't go to art school if it will leave you in a lot of debt, it isn't worth it in our current capitalist dystopia. You can learn a lot online for much cheaper these days, and I'm doing my best to contribute to that.
My one caveat to that is if you want to work for the big tv animation studios (Disney or CN) you basically HAVE to be a CalArts grad... At least, last I heard... I applied to CalArts once. I didn't get in.
Q: How do I make art into a career?
A: I'm still figuring that out myself. I used to do art full-time, but now I have a part-time job that I also love (I work at a local escape room) and I'm coming to find that success as an artist really just means making work I'm proud of. It doesn't matter how many readers you have or how well you can pay your bills with it, because those things are out of your control. Focus on what you CAN control. Spend all your free time on things that make you happy, take as many risks as you can, and the rest will fall into place eventually...
Q: How can I meet you in person?
A: I attend anime/comic cons in Minnesota a couple times a year. There's a sidebar on my webcomic's homepage that I keep up to date with my appearances. That's about it, I'm pretty dang introverted most of the time.
